Departmental features
Based on our faculty expertise, current facilities, and existing research achievements in developing property management information systems, we choose “Ubiquitous Property Management Information System” as our departmental feature and research direction. Sub-projects under that include “Building an RFID Environment of Digital Life”, “Building an Information Infrastructure for Community Healthcare Service”, “Linking a Property Management Information System to Mobile Networks”, and “Business Models for Ubiquitous Property Information Systems”. The completion of these sub-projects will not only consolidate our existing features but also make them more prominent.

Departmental facilities
There are six computer labs and nine project labs in the Department. Computer labs are used as classrooms for lectures and for students to practice the skills learned in lectures. Project rooms provide our students with the necessary equipment to do research and develop information systems under faculty guidance. Our computers, mainly using Windows operating systems, are installed with office software, databases, development tools, and multimedia software so as to make it more convenient for our students to learn information technology and system management.
