Program types

Four types of programs are offered in the Department and Graduate School: a master’s degree program, four-year day and evening bachelor’s degree programs for vocational senior high school graduates, and a two-year weekend associate degree program for vocational senior high school graduates.

In-Service Master’s Program: One class each year (Total credits for graduation : 42 credits, including 6 credits on the master’s thesis)
Four-year Day and Night Technological Institute Programs: One class each program (Total credits for graduation : 128 credits)
Two-year Weekend Extension Program: One class each year (Total credits for graduation : 80 credits)

Educational Objectives

The Department/Graduate School provides balanced instruction in theory and practice, encourages students to discover, analyze, and solve problems independently and emphasizes students’ ability to carry out research so that students can bridge the gap between theory and practice and are equipped with dual professional skills in assets management and property management.

Departmental features

The Department/Graduate School has already signed contracts with more than 10 local and foreign well-known property management enterprises to provide practicum opportunities for students. High-ranking executives in the property management industry are invited to teach in the Department/Graduate School so as to combine theory with practice. In addition, cooperation with the Chartered Institute of Housing contributes to the international accreditation of our programs, enabling our graduates with a bachelor’s degree to obtain the grade of “housing practitioner” granted by the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Departmental facilities

There are four teaching and research laboratories and
one testing center in the department:
1. A Digital Design Software classroom,
2. A Green Building materials Laboratory；
3.An Automatic Digital Measurement Laboratory,
4. An Intelligent Property Management and Control Classroom,
5. A Facilities Maintaining and Cleaning Management Laboratory.

Student career development

Graduates with a bachelor’s degree can pursue advanced studies in our graduate institute or other business or management related graduate schools at other universities. They may become government employees by passing the civil service examination in the related fields. They may also pursue a career in property management, assets management, construction management, real estate advertising, or in other real estate related industries.
