The Computer and Information Networking Center contains three sections: Support and Service Section, Network Management Section, and Campus Information Section. Its functions include: planning the basic computer skill training for the whole school, supplying PC classrooms to support computer related lectures, helping teachers to develop their teaching with multi-media materials, providing information technology consulting to faculty members and students, and developing and maintaining campus administration software systems, providing Internet services and licensed software download via wired & wireless networks. Meanwhile the Center is also one of the national examination halls and a Microsoft Office Specialist Authorized Examination Distributor. We are authorized to issue licenses for the participants who have passed the tests immediately.

For the campus wired networks, we use a fiber-based backbone network and 200 Mbps Fiber to link to National Taiwan University. For the wireless networks, ubiquitous WLAN (802.11bg) services in campus and roaming services in some universities are available.

Students can use their identity cards to enter computer classrooms and access the Internet via their personal e-mail account and password.
