Program types

Five types of programs are offered in our department: four-year day and evening bachelor’s degree programs for vocational senior high school graduates, two-year evening and weekend associate degree programs for vocational senior high school graduates, and a two-year weekend bachelor’s degree program for junior college graduates.

Educational objectives

The aim of the Department is not only to equip students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge in cosmetology, but also to help students develop artistic creativity and professional attitude needed for success in the cosmetology industry.

Departmental features

The Department provides students with a solid foundation in both comprehensive knowledge of cosmetics and professional beautification techniques with a focus on beauty consultation, styling design and bridal secretary training. Teaching activities includes lectures, experiments and oversea studies. After graduation, students will become cosmetologists who can bring beauty into reality using their expertise.

2. A Nail Painting Training Room
3. A Bridal Secretary Training Room
4.A wide variety of instruments for treating the hair, skin, and nails.
5. An approved exam hall for national beautician certification.

Student career development

After completing the program, students may choose to pursue advanced studies or find a job in the related fields. In the former situation, they are qualified to enter the graduate school of cosmetic science, fashion design, or biological technology. In the latter, the occupational outlook is very promising because students usually obtain the license(s) of Beautician, NAHA Aromatherapy, and/or EZ Flow International Nail Painting Technician before graduation. They may work in the beauty industry as a styling designer, image designer, fashion designer, purchaser of fashion products, color cosmetic designer, nail painter, bride’s secretary, etc.
